Fishing OHL waiting on barge
 

Hi all,
Got out fishing on old hickory again tonight. I am sitting in a cove waiting on a barge to pass so I figured I should post :)

Beautiful weather, in fact almost too cold. I had to put on all my extra boat clothes tonight.

Fishing is much slower than the other night as expected with the cold front coming in, but I have caught 6 bass. All around 12 to 14 inches. 2 were nice spots. The rest largemouth. All about 10 to 15 ft deep on rock and wood

I think I will give it 1 more hour to see if I can get a good one

There is a little hint of fall in the air. We just came in from roasting some marshmallows with the girls in the backyard.

Sounds like a good catch. Yes it is cool out.....probably take a long sleeve shirt out the door in the A M.

Nothing else bit tonight. Tried deep at the base of a bluff to try to find a big smallmouth bass. No luck. Did see 4 raccoons and a bunch of bats.

Travis, the roasted marshmallows sounds like a fun evening. I may do a campfire with my boy this weekend.
