old hickory lake fishing report
 

I went out this morning around 5am and the water was down another foot. I left from lock 3 ramp and went around to the first cove on the right. The bait was jumping so I started with my KVD top water and within 30 min I boated my first six bass and then they were gone. So I pick up my feather spinner bait and only got a shell cracker and then I used my 6" black lizard and found one more and lost three. Today was no wind until 10am and by that time it was time to get off the water.................woody

Thanks for the report! I've only had top water luck this year at night. I'd love to try some morning fishing but with work 6 days a week its not in the cards this year. I did hit up lock 3 a few nights ago catfishing off the bank. Had some good tugs on liver but didnt hook anything.
How was the water clarity? I couldnt really tell at night haha!
