Awesome fish.
One day I will go chase some chrome on a fly rod that will eventually ruin me from all other types of fishing. Do you like to troll? If so fishfindergeneral on here is a trolling guide on Dale Hollow Lake. http://trolldhl.com/ |
How does the whitefish fight?
I have always heard people tend to complain when they catch them but at least they are good eating. Any truth to that? |
Yep did a lot of trolling back home especially for the eyes and salmon. Hoping to try and use that knowledge when attempting for some stripers sometime.
Whitefish fight like a wet towell but they are excellent eating when fresh. You can fry it, grill it, bake it, and smoke it. |
Travis, Whitefish are under rated. There is nothing like a school of Whitefish to break up a day of slow Trout catching. I've had days that the Whitefish were bigger and better fighting than Trout.
