Winterized Excalibur crossbow

All you compound bow (or crossbow) shooters out there, can you do this in your basement in ten minutes with your bow?

Next season, pickup the bag, go to the field, assemble in ten minutes or less, and I'm ready to hunt.

I've taken this bow apart three times and reassembled it. It shoots right on the money at 20-60 yds every time.

Best bow I've ever bought.

I owe a debt of gratitude to Aero for turning me onto Excalibur. I was one day away from buying a Barnett when he told me to look at a video comparison of crossbows on Youtube.

Sometimes it pays to listen to these old farts on here!!

That looks pretty slick Merv. I sold my property 2 years ago and haven't hunted sense. Did you get anything this season?

Pretty cool, when I get too old to draw a bow back, and my steadiness diminishes I might consider a crossbow.:D

I shot a small buck the first 30 minutes I hunted with it.

A thirty yard shot, in the chest, through the heart, out the ribs, left a blood trail Ray Charles could have followed.

Then another one the following week, 50 yd standing broadside. Complete pass through. He ran about 60 yds, stopped, looked around and fell over. No tracking jobs this year.

I was on the ground both times.8

Uh huh, methinks I detect a subtle (or maybe not so) jab here.
Unable to draw a bow back......steadiness diminishes....might make me break out the old compound and practice up a bit.

And then again...maybe not, LOL.
