KY Lake 10/30/2015
 

My friend and I hit Kentucky Lake today; what a gorgeous fall day it was to be out on the water. And I was way overdue because it's been a while since I wet a line. Caught a few fish, which was nice, got to see a bald eagle flying low and close to the boat (no pics, too busy gawking) and pretty much enjoyed the nice weather and beautiful scenery. Yes, I'm still alive :)

Oh, and the fish. Not a lot, KY Lake always kicks my @ss and today was no different; the high pressure and bluebird skies didn't help but that's ok, it was good to be back out on the water again.

Those are some nice chunks. I want to fish KY lake, maybe next year. I used to see bald eagles all the time on G-Ville. This spring saw one flying off with a fish , drop it back into the lake, circled and just hit the water like a bowling ball and come back up with it. Pretty cool to see from about 50 yards away.

Looks like you had a good day. I have only fished KY Lake a few times around Birdsong.
