Old hickory after rain?

Well I'm gonna fish out of flippers on Saturday and noticed that it's gonna rain 3 days in a row before and drop the temps, but I'd imagine the water is gonna be pretty high and muddy. I was wondering if anybody had any experience on old hickory with the water high? Thanks

Depending on how much rain we get, you can count on lots of trash and floating debris in the main channel area. Yes it will be muddy but you can concentrate on the bank cover, grass and wood. The fish will pull tight to cover so pitching and flipping jigs, tubes, creature baits would be your best bet. Head to the backs of the creeks.

Caught 3 cats and a rockfish Saturday morning on OH. Bites were slow. Couple of pics on my "fishing with Jr. thread".
