Marrowbone lake

Any one know much about it thought about maby tryin to Catfish it how deep is it and is bank access good

Bank access is ok, they do have rental boats there. I heard the deepest part is 70ft. The whole lake seems to be pretty deep as Ive fished it several times. Only seen one person catch a catfish but it was 10 lbs.

My buddy used to catch them by the dam.

A lot of catfish are caught directly behind the concession store.

The deepest part is when you first pull in to the right, and I think it's around 50ft, i know some people that have caught some verg big fish at night after the gates close... They have pictures of 30 pound blues in there caught from the bank.

Don't be shocked if you catch a big hold over rainbow trout catfishing there. The water is spring fed and deep enough some last year round.

I've been curious about marrowbone as well, I need to go scout the bank area. I need a good place to setup my euro gear for carp. As far as carp I believe it produced a record. I'm sure there are some fat cats there. I wouldn't mind catching one of those either.

My son fished it two weekends ago..10 nice cats.:)

Behind office to left are picnic tables and such. Plenty of bank access with catfish and bream bite.

There was and I am sure still are HUGE carp in the lake. I have fished it quite a bit but there was an ice storm early 90's that downed timber everywhere in the lake. From that point on right or wrong bass fishing to me seemed to taper off a lot. Don't know if it was affected by that becoming too much structure or something else but I never had the same results so I stopped going all together.

The only lures that have worked for me there are jerkbaits and wacky senkos
