Great fish! I need to learn to target those and then a place to be able to get to them in a kayak. Way to go.

That is a beauty. I noticed you said "started your season off with", Fall is the kick off of the off season for me. What can you say of patterns and general locations for reservoir fish.

Man I'd love to get some of those this year. Has anyone caught them in the Caney? Right below the dam possibly? I know they're in there because I saw a guy catch one right below the waterfall at the dam. Is it a once in a while thing or is it worth the trouble of bank fishing the deeper holes in search of them? If so, I think I know exactly where I should go looking for them.

There is a good population of walleye below the Center Hill Dam year round. I have caught several tossing husky jerks. It is not just a once in a while thing! Especially during generation, throw along the current and riprap.
