Duck/Normandy

When there is 234 CFS being released, how does that make river for wading?
I have not been there to often.

You should be okay below the dam. Anything 80-180 cfs is perfect. Anything over that limits you to were you can wade on the Duck below Normandy. Is anyone catching anything of size?

You can fish it but just watch it. They have some fatties stocked this year. The way you fish with the float rod it should be pretty good at that flow.

They have some nice fat fish stocked already this year. I love fishing Normandy as it is a close drive for me but in the Spring is when it really shines. The fish they stocked in November will have grown 2 to 4 inches by May and will have some shoulders. There is a huge source of crayfish for them to eat and many fisheries biologist will tell you a trout can grow an inch a month with such a food source......that growth rate slows after a while though. The day I blew my knee out over there I was catching quite a few 11 and 12 inch fish.

Regards
