Friday night tournament

Is anyone doing this? I just saw it on craigslist. I like the 6-10 or 5-9 tournaments but 7-1? And.. its on the wrong side of the lake for me to fish at night. Is anyone else fishing this tournament?

That is Flippers right?

Interesting...that would be the only night tourney I could probably make starting at 7p but I'd have to either learn new water or run a ways.

That would be a good one to get into but thats a long run to make at night for me. Most of my night fishing is done between Cedar creek and the dam. I wonder who is running it?

seems like some interest but everyone likes the lower end of the lake... lets start our own Friday night tourney
Any of you fish the Tuesday night out of Saunders Ferry or the Thursday night out of Black Jack?

OH running at night

It really isn't safe running OH after dark. There is a lot of floating debris and logs out there.

It's not as bad as most believe. You have to use common sense about. There are many factors to watch for such as how much the dams are generating, both OH and Cordell hull. Previous weather etc....those factors could dislodge old logs and send them floating. I agree that there is no reason whatsoever to be running 70 or 80mph at night, as i know a few people that do, trust me. As long as you use your head and keep safety in mind you'll be fine.

I agree.

You can actually see out there better than you would think. Its not like riding around in a closed closet.

I'd be more worried running around Percy at night wide open than Old Hickory. But thats just me.

There are a few of us going out tonight on Old Hickory, and I know a few others that are going out over the weekend on other bodies of water. Next weekend there are 14 of us meeting up at Kingsport and fishing all weekend.

I'll send you a PM

Jeremy
