Wow man congrats on that hybrid!!! Looks like that spot is heating up, can't wait to get out there with you. This weekend and next weekend I'll be staying in Cookeville but the following weekend I should be back at Ashlyn's so if you're free, let's go!

Alphahawk 04-02-2013 06:08 PM

Man you're wearing them out! That is one fine hybrid.....good Smallie also. My spots just aren't producing yet. If I were a little more mobil I would probably try wading on Percy....but don't need to have a replaced knee replaced again...LOL. Keep it up...love seeing the pics.

I walked the bank for years...and did well. Found spots that produced year after year....but a year ago I just couldn't do the 3 or 4 miles anymore and got the kayak. I imagine in 4 or 5 years I will be back in a boat. Who needs a boat when you are catching fish as you have been doing....LOL. Keep living the dream!

Wow, What a nice fish. You're killing me! I've only been able to get out on the water once in the last month or so, and that was last Friday when they were predicting "occasional" showers. I got poured on all darned day and only caught a few fish. I can only dream of catching something like what you have in that pic! Congrats!

Travis C. 04-04-2013 03:10 PM

That is the biggest hybrid I have ever seen Mike, can you even imagine one with about another 10lbs hanging on it. State record is 23.3

The smallie was not too shabby either.
