If I am not already there, I will be on my way to Rainy Lake in Ontario.

Saltwaterwalt 06-25-2013 08:19 PM

Is shelter #6 near the water? Is it feasible to come by boat and anchor to shore?

Thought I was out of town, but looks like I might make it. I live by Shutes landing so its a heck of a lot easier to get there by water than driving around the whole lake! :)

jaysouth 06-26-2013 06:53 AM

I'll be there

What do you need at this point?

Thanks

Shelter #6 is on the water, it's on the very southwest side of the park with water access, no dock though, but I have a Stick-It Pin if you want me to bring it.

Thanks

Nothing is required if you don't want to, but anything would be appreciated.
We had a person back out that was bringing plates/cups/plastic forks, spoons, and knives. If you want to look over the list and pick somemthing that you would like to have, but don't see you are welcome to do that.

Thank You,

Jeremy

Ill try to swing by if I can

Is anybody bringing paper stick on nametags?

I will bring a bundle of these and a couple of sharpies so folks can make nametags for themselves.

Not that I know of, but great idea. I'm not too good with names myself.

I pick up cups , plates, plastic forks knives and spoons, table covers for the 4 tables there and paper towels. My wife made a bowl of potato salad , deviled eggs and shrimp salad. I will bring my camera and take pictures and if someone is coming by boat be careful there is about 18" of water with rocks every where and trees.....................woody p.s. I will be the bearded old fart in the western hat.

jaysouth 06-28-2013 04:46 PM

I will bring, but leave in my car for backup as needed, plates, cups, plastic forks, mustard, hot sauce and salt and pepper. I will also bring an unopened propane fish cooker if a back up is needed.

I will bring stick on name-tags and sharpies to the shelter with a package of brats and buns.

Let me know if you need anything else.

I'll be there with wife Michelle and daughter Brianna with the 2 gallons vegetable oil, right around 10:30. Can also pick up anything else that is still lacking.
