Had a great time at the show. Ran across an old class mate and a few friends I haven't seen in years. Missed Randy and Mike Dial.
Spent quite a bit of time talking to Lowell and Ed at TM. Met Jeff and Roy. These guys are top notch. Too top notch, in fact. I went to get a 10,000 yd spool of 2# SOS. Ended up also getting the 9' Trinity rod.
Came home and put a reel on it. Got out the 6' ladder and threaded the line through the eyes. I then realized that with all that line running up the rod I needed to put more line on the reel. After re spooling and climbing back up the ladder to thread the eyes I tied on a lure and headed to PP. No fish but man this thing adds distance to the cast and balances great with reel.
Good to meet you Juice. Man, with a wife and son that beautiful I would not leave home without them. Now quit bitching. :)

A great show made for a great day.

Went to the show today and drooled on some new boats. Now if I can can hit tonight on the Powerball......I will be set!
Glad to finally meet TK and Creekcrappie. Great guys! Also visited Randy at TM booth and got a few trout magnets. They have the best selection and prices of all the vendors there!

Great to meet all of you guys. Sorry if we were busy and couldnt spend a lot of time with you but it was just crazy to say the least. Thanks for all of your support and we hope you enjoy your new stuff. If for any reason you should have any problems with anything you purchased please let 1 of us know and we will make it right. Also be watching for some BIG news coming out Tuesday or Wednesday. This will be big news for those who like to chase BIG trout and or smallmouth. Just got back from the show. It was great to meet/see everyone from the forum. Jon, I just missed you. I saw you walking by and didn't get the chance to say hi. Same with Merv. They had Duckett Macro and Micro magic rods on sale for $100 apiece. I bought three lol. And the Skeet Reese rods were on sale for 2 for $100.

I was there yesterday afternoon between 4 and 5 pm. What a great time!

I left the wife and baby at home and brought along my two year old son. These sorts of a events are tailor made for father/son quality time. We played on the boats, ate elk jerky (a first for both of us), and checked out all manner of kayaks and lures.

I stopped by the Trout Magnet booth and met BrownTrout, who kindly hooked me up with the gear I'd been missing. I'm one step closer to figuring out how to use the trout magnets effectively.

I was hoping to see and meet other folks from the forum, but my son's time limit was about 50 full minutes. In order to really stock up for the spring, I would have needed to go alone(!).

All in all, a really great bunch of people out there. Can't wait until the next one. And... gettin' excited about the spring.

I got out there today and me and my boy met TCINTN. He's a good guy and gave me some helpful tips.

I talked to Duckworth and Carper, completely blew my $100 budget I set for myself, but we had a great time!

Looking forward to getting on the water and trying out this new combo I got from the trout magnet booth.
