I wondered if you were fishing next to the dam or is the water too high for that? I don't think I could handle climbing down all that bric-a-brac (down a ways from the dam) to get to the water. Do you think fishing down near the bridge would be worth a shot?

Are you using 2# line with that rig? I used that same setup with great success in the urban ponds in Vegas except that I used Berkley 3" floating trout worms as the bait with a size 6 or 8 Aberdeen. Same sinker setup with 4 or 6# line.

Luck... Dennis

I was using 3# test Yamatoyo Razor fluorocarbon......a great FC line. There is great fishing right next to the parking lot where there is a long sidewalk and also at what looks like a boat ramp but is actually a place for wheel chairs to sit. It is all level ground and you don't have to walk 40 feet from the car. There is several hundred yards of good fishing right there at the parking lot. The water is a bit high to be fishing at the dam.

Lol Don Jarvis was in the boat. That's why you didn't catch anything

Isn't that basically the same thing as a Carolina rig? I'm thinking about heading up that way and get into some trout action...
