I caught a Damn snake on a topwater popper, when fishing from kayak a couple years ago, No Darn way was I gonna let it in the yak with me.. I just cut the line. With my luck it was a dang cotton mouth.

I was live lining for rock fish when a gull hit the water and had my bait. So I pulled trying to get the bait away and I hook the gull under its beak and the bait was hanging down. There must a been ten other gulls diving on that gull trying to get that bait that was hanging down under that gull. Here I'm trying to crack him in and another gull grabs the bait and roils that gull upside down while I'm trying to get him in. It took about 30 minutes to get that gull in so I could unhook it and let it go, I will have to say it was the funniest thing I have ever seen.............woody
