Went out yesterday afternoon with my pastor. Caught seven overall this was the biggest of the day and his biggest ever Pushing 36lb 45 inches long. Caught all seven on Alabama Rig. http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15/01/24/a3a96e12263b685f896ecd8bc21eb2a9.jpg

Nice fish. I expect to start seeing increased girth on stripers out there...they looked obese by this time last year.

Big difference between yesterday and today.

Went this afternoon. Lots of boats and yaks. Three fish caught at the barrier from 2PM-6PM. 2 two pound stripers and one LM bass. That was IT!!

Well two boats with young people on the right side were catching some bluegills, no tilapia.

I think I have caught a total of 30 tilapia all year up there. Most of those came with Jimmy a couple months ago.

Usually the colder it gets, the worse the tilapia fishing gets. I believe they run to the boils

Boom! Great catch man, I gotta get on board with the A-Rig. Was out there this morning, only caught skippies and yellow bellies. Seen 1 striper caught around mid morning.

Great fish Dakota... you can always tell the "true" 30 pounders by looking at the hand holding the tail side of the fish. In your picture the fish makes the hand look small. I've seen other alleged 30 pounders where the hand holding the tail side of the fish is a dead give away that the fish isn't really 30 pounds. Looks like that was fun!
