1. Some of you may have seen the sunken pontoon boat on your imaging systems. 2 pictures below on that.
2. A sign of some sort in a deep ditch.
3. A large tree/log right off the main channel

Nice images. Were you able to catch any of the fish in the second image showing on the di and si?

I'll be impressed when you can tell what it says on the sign. Until then, keep working!:)

That's awesome! I love it how we all act like doctors looking at and diagnosing Xrays! This case seems to be x, y and z. I recommend less sleep and more time on water. Ha!

No, really, that is cool I'm going to have to get me a set up like that before long.

I have the hds-8, so I know how to read the di and si, but I swear, I don't see anything that looks like a pontoon boat.

I have spent an untold amount of dollars on fishing over the years. Buying an imaging sonar is by far the best return for my money I have ever spent.

x3. I see an object, and maybe from a different angle you can see it's a 'toon, but not in the one's posted.

I don't see a pontoon boat either....but I do see what would make me stop and throw out a marker buoy....a whole lot of fish. Thanks for sharing the images. I don't have a Lowrance but it is always nice to see images from any of the imaging units.

I see the things you are talking about alpha. I really like lowrance but think that humminbird is better at side imaging. I was looking at some of the Raymarine stuff and was really impressed with the side and down imaging they have. Next bass boat I get will be outfitted with side imaging and I plan on putting the elite 7 on the new kayak next year.

I think all of the major companies have good units. I know I don't want to get on the water without one now that I have used one......and I haven't even scratched the surface of what it can do for me........meaning put fish in the boat. I do know that using one in a kayak......at least for me....the only limit is just how much of a lake I can cover. But that has nothing to do with the unit...just my own power.....LOL. But hopefully that will change a little with a new Slayer Propel 10.

I am ashamed of you guys. What happened to the good old days of dragging baits through barren waters for hours upon hours with no success. Fishing in storms and hail, and snow with little results. Then you have a little blip on your down imaging and ,,,,,, I cant fish.

Yeah I agree with you guys on the pontoon boat. I may take some more scans of it. I just have a reliable source says it's a pontoon boat. I'm gonna check with him to see if he was there when it sunk?

Reminds me of when this doctor in a white coat used to show me these ink blot pictures and asked me what did I see. Next time I will say I see bait fish, a pontoon boat, brush, big fish. That should get me out of there quick.

I couldn't imagine fishing without electronics. Using a combination of Navionics Web App and my unit that's on my watercraft takes a lot of time out of finding fish.
