Fishing OHD on Friday. 1 Generator and an obscene amount of skip jack in the water. A sabiki rig caught 3-5 every single cast. Most times you did not need to cast. Just drop off the side, no action, skippies.

Caught around 10 fish, a Baskin Robbins day with one of each flavor.

Caught a nice flathead and one striper. Folks on the bank caught four nice ones. About one an hour, which is slow.

Do you ever catch any skippies at night? Are there any lights at OH Dam at night?

I am thinking about fishing it one night from the kayak.

There are plenty of lights below OHD so night fishing there is easy.

Pretty flathead! Pretty in the frying pan too, definitely my favorite catfish to eat!

I use to scuba dive/spearfish Dale Hollow at night when the big flatheads were on the prowl.

It's true about the ramp down there. But, I put in down there a few weeks ago and there was a cop sitting there in a undercover car. We talked for a few minutes and he said they are trying to solve that problem.

They have a problem of sorts on the rockland side of the river, mainly by the back parking area/ archery range. The "equalizer" is always on me anytime i fish from the bank around there, especially after dark.
