This was the biggest fish of the day. Fished with aero on Tims Ford.

We trolled white bucktail jigs with 5 inch twister tails and four inch chartreuse glitter Sassy Shads.

Almost every fish came on side planer rods, only two were on the downriggers

How deep were they?

Between 20 and 25 feet. Most of the stripers were around 23 feet. We were fishing at about 20 feet, right above them. Fish are over deep open water. Hybrids are schooled separately from the Rockfish. The fish we saw surfacing were hybrids in the 5 to 6 pound range. Fishing is very good right now!

LOL, jad2t, that is why we don't "forecast" where we are going to fish. SAMBOLIE gets word of where I'm headed to fish, he'll drive all night and do his hoodoo voodoo hexing dance in the nude around a fire all night, just to trip me up!

Doesn't take a lot to trip you up. I could dance around a lit match with all my clothing on and trip you up.
