Beautiful morning of fishing!
Terrible morning of catching.
Two of us in yaks and a brief visit from a pontoon boat. Nobody even got a hit.

It was a nice morning. The water was like glass and we had a light snow most of the time.

Thanks for the report guys. I figured the water was still dingy from the rain. My wife called and told me that OH looked like chocolate milk along Saunders Ferry Rd.

Probably gonna take a coupla more days with no precipitation to clear it up.

Was there any surface activity?

Only saw 4-5 top water hits. 2 were out in the river about 30-40 yards past the buoys. A lot of gulls were circling out there too. Spent some time casting there but nothing. I think the gulls were mainly picking up dead floaters.

On my way home from GSP yesterday I got this text from a friend we're going to see next week in Orlando. Just another 70° morning behind his house. You know where I'll be Tuesday evening!

The idea of fishing in shorts and a T-shirt feels about as far away as the moon at the moment.

Limits on Bass in Florida from their regulations............

5 Black bass (largemouth, Suwannee, spotted, and shoal bass, individually or in total), only one of which may be 22 inches or longer in total length.

– In south Florida: only one bass may be 14 inches in total length or longer.
– South and east of the Suwannee River: black bass less than 14 inches in total length must be released immediately.
– In the Suwannee River, areas north and west of the Suwannee River, and in any tributary river, creek or stream of the Suwannee River: black bass less than 12 inches in total length must be released immediately.

I don't know how many people were fishing but he may have over done it. I know his lake is packed with this size bass. Yes, 5/day/angler and only one 22" and longer.

Man I would give anything to be catching bass like that in shorts and a t-shirt right now.
