old hickory lake fishing report 1/19/2014

I went fishing on my friend Don boat and we went looking for crappie in the cold wind and water. The water temp was around 39.6 to 42.5 which makes for a hard days fishing. The bite was slow but my friend Don caught two keeper crappie, one stripe and a yellow bass on a chartreuse CM and minnow and I caught zip nothing on a chartreuse TM but I did get bites.............woody

Were those temps on the lower end of the lake Woody?

You ever try that crappie hole? This is the time of year we'd really start fishing it hard through Feb.
