Congratulations! You got that right, you got a fishin buddy for life. Just a little tip... Put back a few bucks a week so you can get him a lifetime Sportmans License, one of the best things I've ever done for my four.

Thanks guys, It's our first kid so it's been interesting. We had a few issues with labor but everything got worked out and he is perfect. It's amazing how life changes in an instant.

Congrats on the new addition!

This may not be you but my time on the water has decreased since my kids come along. We spend nights and weekends at the ____ (fill in the blank with any sport) field. I still go when I can, but I know fishing will be there when they move out. Take interest in what they love to do and spend as much time with them as you can…if they love to fish then you are set!

Congrats ! I have a 5 yr old daughter who has loved fishing from the first time I took her at age 3. The worst part about having a kid was waiting for her to be old enough to go with me, everything else was a blessing. Watching your child learn from you is one of the greatest things about being a parent. Congratulations, again !

Congratz and God Bless.

My brother and his 14 year old son (only boy of 6 kids) are best friends when it comes to fishing and fish every weekend they can. ;)

Thanks everyone. I grew up fishing every weekend with my grandfather and dad and would love for my son to fish with me every weekend when he gets old enough. I think he will appreciate the Lifetime sportsman liscence, afterall I pay 150+ every year in TN and the 40 or 50 for my Alabama liscence.
