Glad I didn't stay home! Following a tip from my neighbor Jim (also on the Forum), I loaded up the big tackle and headed out to OH. Caught a bloody tailed Big One apparently full of eggs? What do you think?

Great bass! I sure wish I could have joined you :) It sure has been a good year for bass fishing on Old Hickory.

Great fish! Pretty interesting... This fish I caught the last time I was at OH also had a bloody rubbed down tail. Caught her out of 3' of water in a spot that is usually great for numbers but not size. This fish went a little under 5lbs on my scale. 3619

Nice fish guys, I need to spen more time on a lake that's less than 1/2 mile from me. It seems I'm always friving 1hr min to fish.

Great fish, given the time of year and the red tail, she is probably post spawn and already dropped her egges, and was a pound or more heavier before doing so. disclaimer "I'm not a bass biologist, I only play one on the internet"

Sure looked like she had some left in her belly. Dang thing was as wide as my head, and I have a 7 & 3/4 hat size :)
