So along with my new kayak I am planning on getting some (2) lighter rods to place my Abu Garcias. Anyone have any suggestions? Where to buy?

What price range are you looking at? That would affect my recommendations.

Looking for a price range of $60ish per rod.

Berkley lightning or cherrywood spinning rod. If only one rod, go w/ ML. If two get one L and one Med. 6'6" is a good size for most. Go shorter, if you fish under lots of trees. Go longer if you have more open area (and need longer cast).

For reels, pfluegar president is built tough but are kind of heavy. The lighter diawa exceller might be just outside your price range, but is money well spent IMO. Which ever spinning reel you get, make sure it is large enough to hold 100-150 yds of 6 lb test. Anything smaller will cause tangling issues. Larger is just extra weight.

Good deal. Thanks for the recommendations. As for reels I'm just going to my two new Garcias. I'm just looking for lighter rods.

In that price range, I would go with an All Star over a Berkley rod. This would be an excellent choice:
