Lake Normandy 5-17-2011
You can view all 12 pics on my site. I fished Lake Normandy today with Mr. Mike Reed. We didn't get to the lake until 7:15am or so and left at 4:00pm. Water temp was 68 degrees and the lake is down a little bit from the time I was here several week agoand has good color. We had a cold North West Wind all day and the air temp at the ramp when we left was 56 degrees. We caught all our fish on a Pumpkin 1/4oz McFerrin Signature Swim Jig (you can get these at Barton Spring on Normandy) A Prowler Pumpkin Shaky Head Work www.prowlerlures.com (http://www.prowlerlures.com/) on a VMC 1/8oz Dominator Jig head www.vmchooks.com (http://www.vmchooks.com/) 8lb test Sufix Pro Mix Mono www.sufix.com (http://www.sufix.com/) and a buzz bait. A good day and a lot of fun-not sure Mike wants me to tell this but he lost a legitimate 7lb plus fish today as well......It will haunt him for a long time.
