I got my boat fired up and went with my good buddy last Saturday. We anchored with a couple rigs out using live skipjack and this one hit. I pulled up anchor while Rick fought him and we chased him down. Some of you may have been out there to see us? Alot of boats there Saturday. He caught it with his Dad's rod and reel set-up (Shimano baitrunner 3500) that he used to use for snook and redfish. He passed away of abestos cancer in 2000. So a great sentimental story, behind the 36lb striper!! 2 pics attached.

Way to go! Nothing like fighting a rockfish. A couple of weeks and I'm going to get after some fish.

Thanks to my brother in Christ for a great day of Striper fishing. The fishing was great for many different kinds of fish but the best part was the release of the 36lb Striper in hopes that it can get bigger for someone else to enjoy the next fight.

Thanks again my Brother
