Several years ago, we brought our boat up the Cumberland and anchored off the Riverfront in Nashville and had a blast listening to music all afternoon.

I seem to recall reading that USCG shut down that area for anchoring. Does anyone know if it's possible to anchor there this weekend?

Will probably do it just to see; no way I'm going to back on the pavement downtown with half a million tourists; but going by river was a blast last time.

I would think you could fish on an anchor. What could they do to you for fishing? for catfish?

Country music and the USA are dead. Country music is nothing more than POP and the United States are divided.
George Straight and Alan Jackson said it best in a song.

My tastes run toward Willie and Waylon; so, yea . . . I get the comments about CMA entertainment.

Had plenty of fun on the boat Saturday. Put in on the Stones River and ran down to Nashville. Plenty of room to anchor. Sound quality was as expected.

I just much prefer relaxing on my own comforts of cruising; drinking my own chilled beverages, eating my own snacks and sammiches, and avoiding the 90* degree pavement and crush of crowds.

Also . . . still burning fuel from LAST YEAR; and not paying stooopid parking/Uber prices.

Fun afternoon on the water.

What a way to relax. Sounds like a blast.
