Just a fantastic day! I started off early morning on Old Hickory and caught my personal best 31lb Striper. Also caught a 30lb, a 24lb and a 8lb all released. All topwater, the smaller one on A-Rig. Then I met my buddy and we went to Percy Priest in the afternoon and hammered Hybrids and Crappie. I'm holding a 6.7lb hybrid. Here's a couple pics. Over 115 pounds of fish caught today. Wow!

That, my son, was not "fishing", THAT WAS "CATCHIN"!
Awesome day and super glad for you.
It shows that the more time you put in on the water, the luckier you'll get!

The steam plant is feast or/and famine.
You can go there multiple times and catch nothing and go there another day and catch four or five.
I haven't found any rhyme or reason for it.

Sounds like an awesome day Dakota!

My most consistent days at the Steam Plant have been late Feb-early March. Seems like they could take or leave a meal most of the winter but once the days start getting longer and the water temps start moving toward spawn it is ON! Unfortunately I'm traveling until the end of the month and gonna miss out on most of prime time up there this year.
