Hit JPP lake early Sunday morning for some crappie trolling. Hit my first two spots from daylight until about 8:45 am and it was slow. Lots of bait and fish but very few takers very unusual for this time of year.
My third stop was near Smith Springs rec area. Not a place I try often but what the heck. On my first pass running parallel to the bank I notice a woman relaxing and splashing in the water near the bank in about thigh deep water. As I was passing her by she stood up and started waving and dancing. She was wearing a two piece bikini but was only wearing the bottoms. Yep, she was topless! She probably danced for about 15-20 minutes as I slowly trolled back and forth. Every time I went by she waved. Bizarre experience for 9:00 am on a Sunday morning. I am assuming she was a Saturday night holdover.
First question my wife had when I got home was "Was she old and fat?" Nope I said. She was probably late 20's or early 30's and attractive. "How do you know?" she says. Well, I probably rode by her 15-20 times. Thats when the wife gave me the look so I dropped it.
On the bright side, I found a new favorite trolling spot.
