Yesterday at JPP I found these trees in 60 FOW give or take. My question is do any of you fish deep trees for Crappie or bass?? If so how what is the best way you've found to fish them? Not only is it very deep water it's hang up city unless you rig something weedless? I'd probably try to fish for Crappie mostly.

The trees are below the thermocline (~25'-30' deep) on your screenshots. I wouldn't bother with them now but maybe check back on them for bait etc later.

Go back at night and drop lights down. Bring them to you. My best spot on Priest with lights is 46 fow. I drop the lights down about 15 ft when I first setup. After an hour or so, I bring them up to 3ft and tie them off there. If the shad follow the light.....it's game time!

At the Trout Magnet booth this year there was a cooler full of big crappie. Those came from a depth of 52 feet on JPP out of tree tops.....vertical jigging. I don't know how they even felt the bite...LOL.

Yep, like alpha said. Go back and fish them in the winter!

Nice screenshots.. I agree, during the dead of winter, I think it will be a good spot.

I saw those in the cooler. Their eyes were bulging out.

Yeah i seen them too....just like you said....eyes bugging out. Lol.
Ive found alot of super deep trees like youve got screen shots of this year and plan on trying them in the winter for whatever may be living there.
Guys catch alot of mixed bags fishing watts bar in places like that....40,50,60' with standing trees. I would think a lively little minnow dead sticked should entice some slow biters.
