Hello everyone, I have a 14 ft aluminum Jon boat. I have been really wanting a fish finder for it. I have looked online about these wireless fish finders but I don't know if it's worth buying. I don't want to drill holes or anything or the best way to mount it but if I have to I will just wondering if anyone has heard about these/has them. Any input will definitely help thank you.

Go on eBay and get a Deeper fish finder. There are several video reviews of it on YouTube. I have one and it works great.

I have mounted transducers with Epoxy or JB weld before. I've got a lowrance elite 5 DI/2D if you are interested in it.

When I run a flat-bottom I simply duct tape the base mount to the boat. I have done this since I decided not to drill holes in the boat.

I know nothing about the wireless deal but I used to run a product by vexilar called an alumaducer. It epoxied in the bottom and shot through the aluminum. Worked good in shallow water but over 15ft I really had to turn up the sensitivity. I don't know if they make it anymore.

iBobber Castable Bluetooth Fishfinder, Seems like it'd work but heh I'd be awry about using such a thing like this...
