Shell crackers.

Had a good two days fishing. Got into a bunch of shell crackers yesterday but only have photos of 3 fish. I did notice a warning about lack of storage would pop up every time I was taking a pic but didn't really give it much thought. Got into vehicle to come home and wanted to look at several dozen pics I thought I had taken.....only to find 3....LOL. Seems I let my iPhone run out of storage with fish pics. That has been taken care of.....freed up 5 gig last night. I caught over 40 shell crackers and don't have the pics of the best ones...several were at 12 inches. Got into some Gills also and as I was telling Travis about in my last post I caught a cross between a sell cracker and a copper nose bluegill. Had a lot of drag pulling fun. Caught these on 2.5# test line using a Bison colored Trout Magnet and my Tict Ice Cube Rockin' Drift 6' 9" UL Ajing rod. I would catch a few fish...load up vehicle...drive to another spot...get out gear and bucket....walk around the spot a couple hundred yards and repeat it all again. It was miserably hot yesterday and while my boat is getting closer to being here I wish it was here TODAY...especially after seeing that nice rig bronzeback just got. Life is good!

Nice looking fish alpha... We just recently (last year) got a bass pro near the house and they have a pond right down from it that they have stocked... They put coppernose and crackers in it along with bass rainbow trout (they died when it got to warm) and catfish. The crackers and coppernose are growing quick since they have fish feeders set up... It's a small catch and release pond that I think will provide me with fun days when I don't want to drive to far...

LOL.....I had to make sure I didn't stay in the house today or I would have napped. Getting my final sleep study tonight so to stay awake I went fishing again today. Shell crackers appear to be on bed in places. I caught some more today. Stayed out in heat most of day but it was good day and I know I will be ready for sleep tonight. Here's a couple of more pics....LOL.
