Me and Chris (txnative) fished the Caney last night from 9 pm or so til 5:30 this morning.

We caught rainbows, browns and walleye by the bunches. My best was only just shy 18" (pic still on my phone) and he had a bow I believe a little bigger (pic on his phone).

Baits used were stick baits and trout mags....plus some I won't disclose. ;) All caught fish. My brown was on 2lb and the Trout Mag which was a fun fight.

The weather came in spurts but all in all after the tornado on the way in it was more of a calm night than chaotic.

Would you believe we actually had the place to ourselves. :D

Nice looking fish. I guess I could add what I caught. I ended up with like 6 browns, biggest being around 14" and 3 bows, biggest 14". I also caught about 10 walleye and a blue gill. I missed/lost probably another 8 fish on a trout magnet. All my walleye came off a crappie magnet and browns and big bow off the jerk bait. I left early after the rained poured on me for a while.

Nice bow Juice.

By mornings generation the water in your pic was far different from we seen. Runoff had started to murk it up pretty good.

Most all the walleye were sticks and boy they thumped that trout magnet. I did have a keeper walleye caught on the TM during morning gen pulse in my boat but it slipped from my hands back into the water. Nothing special just longer enough to keep and not fat by no means.

Chris hooked up with a couple good ones during flow but they came unbuttoned.
