A good topwater bite on any striped fish is definitely a fun time.

Average was 9, biggest just over 10. So according to math all your fish were between 9-10 pounds....

You mean you didn't want your spot broadcast on the forum? Hmm. Strange.

No, if all my fish were between 9 and 10 pounds, then my average would have been 9-1/2 pounds. There was 2 that were small, not sure what they were I didn't take time to weigh them on the bogas, but 99 percent were from a fraction of an inch of 8 lbs on the bogas to 10 lbs. They were all close to the same size. Not the first time and hopefully not the last, although more often than not, they run smaller, but whatever weight they seem to always be about 2 lb difference (with only one or 2 that can be really small or quite a bit bigger) 3-5, 4-6, 5-7 lb range, but every once in a while a good school shows up and that is the best. Same thing happens on the cumberland when I find stripers, they seem to all be within a couple pounds of each other although the gap will be larger with stripers, more like 4 or 5 lbs. Big fish mornings for stripers are the same though, rare, my personal best morning, some of it on video that I had nothing to do with, I caught a 15 fish, smallest was 19 and biggest was just over 26 lbs., which I know is not big stripers by any means, but sure was fun on a 12" sluggo (I made a mold and make them myself that size). Those are the best when I can find them.

Well that depends on how many fish you caught and how many were closer to 9 pounds vs closer to 10 pounds.

Things that are understood are not complicated. :)
